Over the course of a few months, I interviewed a few surgeons about a much-needed tummy tuck for myself after a big weight loss. The first surgeon was very nice and accomodating, however, he planned to do the surgery in office and send me home the same day and that was very scary. He was also several thousand dollars more expensive than I wanted to pay. The second surgeon made me feel like cattle as I was rushed through the consultation by his nurse and himself. He even told me "if you want the best, you'll come to me." That was a big turn-off! The last surgeon I interviewed was Dr. Corbett. Immediately, I felt comfortable with him and his staff. Dr. Corbett answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. The staff and the doctor were so warm and welcoming that Dr. Corbett was the only surgeon that I interviewed twice. On my second interview, I made the decision to have the surgery and scheduled it with the help of Mari (she was extremely nice and helpful to me).
On the day of my surgery, I was feeling very worried and nervous and even considered backing out of the surgery. I discussed this with Dr. Corbett and he looked me in the eye and gently but confidently said, "I'm not. I've had plenty of practice this week. In fact, you're the second guy I'll be doing a tummy tuck on this week". He had performed a tummy tuck on a man the day before. I could not express then or even express now how his confidence and bedside manners melted away my fears and worries. After that, I knew I had made the right choice and was in the care of an excellent doctor and surgeon.
Since my surgery, I've been in touch with Ellen, Misty and Lyzah and they have been very accomodating and I truly believe they are the best staff any surgeon could ever have!
I've recently talked with Dr. Corbett about having another procedure next year on another problem area of mine. I have no intention of interviewing other surgeons for any future work as I feel as though I've truly found one of, if not the best, in Louisville.
All of this coupled with his reasonable pricing makes him the doctor I will recommend to everyone!

After numerous consultations with well known Louisville Plastic Surgeons I still could not find the perfect fit for me. I was extremely particular in my selection process because I simply wanted the BEST! I wanted the best care and the best outcome possible. After my first consultation with Dr. Corbett I knew that very day he was going to be my surgeon. Not only did I feel comfortable with Dr. Corbett but his staff was a delight. Both Mari and Ellen were there for me the minute I walked in the door making me feel warm and welcomed. I then asked several OR nurses as well as other Physicians what their opinions were of Dr. Corbett all of which gave him outstanding reviews. My full tummy tuck with liposuction of the lower inner thigh area went perfectly smooth without any problems. After surgery, Dr. Corbett was the one to see me on all follow up visits. Most offices tend to pass you off to a nurse for suture removal, but not at his office. He sees you on all your post op visits.
Dr. Corbett, I thank you so much for changing my life. I feel like a different person. I am happier, stronger and so much more confident. Diet and exercise was not enough in my case, I needed you. I would recommend you to anyone considering cosmetic/reconstructive surgery. You are an extremely talented surgeon and in my opinion Louisville’s BEST!

After considering breast augmentation for several months I had consultations with four Louisville surgeons. My husband and I chose Dr. Corbett for several reasons. First off, the office staff was warm and accommodating. Ellen was very reassuring during scheduling and consultations and made me feel very comfortable with the choices I was considering. I recently had a Breast Augmentation performed by Dr. Corbett. As a petite woman with a family history of breast cancer, I came in with many concerns, questions and apprehensions. Dr. Corbett not only addressed all my concerns, but he made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Corbett and his staff are amazing. "I was very nervous but at the same time excited going into my first appointment. Once getting there everyone was very nice and welcoming. There was no waiting and I was taken right back. I had many questions and worries. During the consultation Dr. Corbett answered every question and concern my fiancé and I had. I then felt very knowledgeable and happy with my decision. After discussing everything I got to play around with the implants. I was able to try them on and see what size I wanted and how they looked. That was the fun part. It's weird to see yourself with nothing and then with something but it was also when I realized this was definitely what I wanted. The girls there were very helpful and comforting. I have contemplated breast surgery for some time. I felt extremely insecure with the small natural breast that I had. I did my homework on researching risk, consequences and doctors. I found that Dr Corbett and his staff were very friendly and helpful in helping me make my decision. I was one of those that went in with a picture and said this is what I want to look like.
