Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1999 and Re-Certified again in 2007, the highly regarded Louisville cosmetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Corbett, offers 12 years of experience and a thorough knowledge of the latest techniques in plastic surgery. While Dr. Corbett performs all types of Cosmetic procedures, his areas of special focus include cosmetic breast enhancement, cosmetic facial surgery, body contouring surgery, cosmetic surgery following gastric bypass and lap banding, cosmetic laser procedures, as well as non-surgical techniques including Botox® and injectible wrinkle fillers.
A Louisville native, Dr. Corbett graduated from Trinity High School before completing his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University. After Vanderbilt Dr. Corbett enrolled at the U of L Medical School where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree.
After completing his General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies, Dr. Corbett returned to Louisville. He joined Dr. Larry Florman in private practice in 1998. Dr. Corbett established his cosmetic surgery practice, Corbett Cosmetic Surgery, in 2003.
Dr. Corbett is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, an Active Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a Past-President of the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons, a member of the Kentucky Medical Association and the Greater Louisville Medical Society. Dr. Corbett is also on the Clinical Faculty of the University of Louisville Division of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Corbett and his wife have two young sons, and Chip, a Labradoodle. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, running, attending his boys’ swim meets, football and soccer games, and an occasional round of golf. |
